Hi all,
just adding some photos and it's taking an age, so thought we (Bob, Stu and with Davo helping...slightly) would add a proper post, seeing as no one else seems to have.
At the moment we're in a labour camp on Buena Vista Beach, which, based upon first impressions, looked like it was going to be a bit sh....bad. But it's actually quite nice, now that we don't have to work 16 hours per day, thanks to Nick!
the accommodation is basic to say the least. Imagine a garden shed, erected on stilts, with termites chewing through the stilts. Saying that though, Davo is on top of the world. there is more vegetarian crap than he could ever eat! although all the costa ricans sem to think he is either a girl or gay. Any input on this matter would be very much appreciated, as it has caused many a heated discussion (and a lot of hilarity).
The Pacific Ocean is savage. Warm, but savage. I nearly had my clothes torn right off by it, although I fear it may have been a rogue turtle...
Leela is enjoying the company of the locals, Jocelyn is scaring easily, and Seb has nearly killed 4 of us in his sleep. Last night I'm told he imitated Hitler, however Jess told me this, so the evidence is nowhere near concrete...! However it may have actually been Tim, who thinks Stalin may have been doped up during the holocaust of his people. There have been lots of interesting comments from Tim...! Many times Wan has been needed to provide tumbleweeds....!
Kate's burned every square inch of skin on her body, then had it bitten, and then bruised it. Binns is ginger as ever, (mind you so are Chaz and Seb now.......). Chaz is enjoying the whole group sleeping in the same room, as is Bob. but let's not get started on Bob, as the already low tone of this post may go underground...Stu is missing Lily, and crying about it daily. Helen's making some odd noises as I type, but we've become accustomed to this by now...Jon is looking typically british in his nice new hat...
anyway, my pictures are uploaded now, and everyone is pi**ed off at me...! So it's probably time to go.
in all seriousness though, everyone's having an awesome time, and we're all just about fine.

Sorry...!
Hi all,
This is just a quick entry to say sorry for the distinct lack of communication thus far. It's not because we just don't care (well...probably not...!), it's more the fact that they don't have internet in the mountains or the swamps!
However, we are now all sitting in the internet cafe at 10am, so I imagine there will soon be a massive influx of posts!

Seb´s , tim´s and davo´s epic adventure
have now been trying to load photos for around 45 minutes. would have been quicker had tim not decided to break the computer. anyhoo, we have reached this point }so here goes nothing. (great time had by all so far by the way).
okay photo wouldnt upload. So far have had tour of san jose including national theatre and museum. Then had typical costa rican lunch. Rained very heavily in the afternoon which delayed our trip to a local zoo. Was worth the wait, saw some awesome birds, and mammals including macaws and mountain lions. The photo we were trying to upload was one of Ñick (mr moon) posing as a monkey. Will try and get some photos up at a later date. Just about to have breakfast now and then we will leave to do our community work in the east. Right we´re hungry. see you soon nice and hot here hows the weather with you guys¿¿¿

It's OK, I've got the Uno!
I was just about to leave a post when suddenly that last one popped up out of nowhere! Crazy!
3 hours to go. Dear god. I'm a little nervous now it must be said, but so excited it's stupid! I'm all packed up now (I think/hope...!), and am just sitting here with nothing to do for the 2 hours or so before I leave. I swear the 12 hours or so leading up to stuff like this are the worst! I just can't wait to get out there, or even just on the plane (They'd better have those little TV screens!!). I am rambling as you may have noticed... I promise the posts will get better once we're out there!
Aaah I'm just scared I've forgotten something..!! But hey, I should be fine as long as I've got a passport and some money. Oh, and the Uno.

The First Post...
Well... I have no idea how many of our group (which I have now forgotten the name of...anyone?!) reads this page, but as it is now a week and 3 hours until we depart Exeter, and we've just finished school, I thought I'd write something.
I see Mr. Daws suggests discussing what kit we're going to bring on here... Not a bad idea I suppose. So...What should we take?! I'm talking in terms of dive manuals, music (some speakers?), and other stuff I can't think of right now...!
Any ideas just leave a comment... Don't be shy! In fact, even if you don't have any ideas just leave a comment anyway. Then I'll feel loved...!
Also, if you haven't already, get an invitation from Mr. Daws to edit the site, 'cos it'll be quite nice when we're out there to write the odd thing or three on here (I think). He'll also give you the username and password so you can upload your photos to a group album while we're out there, which is pretty cool.
Anyway...see you all in a week (or sooner if any of you are on army camp...)! I can't wait, it's gonna be lush!
